THANKS so much for the outstanding customer service! I was having trouble ordering through the website this past Saturday (5/3/08) afternoon, even though I've done it successfully in the past. I left a voice mail about the problem, with my cell-phone number, and anticipated it would be resolved sometime on Monday. Much to my surprise, I get a call from Mark later that evening, at my home number, on a Saturday night! He successfully found my account information and was able to make a determination why I was unable to order on-line. On a Saturday night! We completed our transaction via phone that night. This was an unexpected, and certainly delightful customer service experience. I grew up vacationing in Ontario (Muskoka) with my family. One of the things that we looked forward to as kids was the candy, particularly Mackintosh's and Coffee Crisps. One day I was surfing on the computer and found a goldmine: a wonderful company that imported those delicious chocolates right here in the USA. I was so happy. You are my hero. I grew up in Buffalo NY of mixed culture: one Canadian parent and one U.S. A border brat, I walked back and forth between Buffalo and Ft. Erie (the closest border town) regularly. I lived on Niagara St. within full view of Ft. Erie and within 8 blocks of the bridge. It took about 20 minutes to be "home." Raised in Buffalo, I raised my son in Buffalo. He used to say, "Mom. I gotta change my mind, can we go over? (meaning to Canada). He felt that he could "breathe" and think better there. Love Coffee Crisps. Found your site today and I cried when I saw the candy of my lifetime. Some I did not even realize were "Canadian" because Buffalo is just filled with Canadian products. My family and I are HUGE Coffee Crisp fans. Every time I hear of a person traveling to Canada, I make them pick me up a few bars. THANK GOD I FOUND THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a child my family had a cabin on Crane Lake, one of those border lakes, in northern Minnesota. We would stock up on the best toffee in the world before we left for the Twin Cities.
