PreserveGolf.com is a website for those who love the classic game of golf. The purpose of this site is to provide a safe forum for opinions relating to the direction that the game of golf should take.  Our primary concern is the technological evolution of golf equipment.

The question is, who isn't on board? With so many in agreement about the problem, how come nothing ever happens to seriously address it? Read the opinions, columns  and articles on this website to find out why.

Read the following quotes from former PGA Tour Commissioner Deane Beman from the March 2005 Golf Digest. He uses the word preserve when discussing the game of golf:

"They (the USGA) shouldn't be having a debate about what it would cost. The debate ought to be about the right thing to do."
"The money ($200 million in the USGA's portfolio) is worth nothing to the game of golf if it isn't used to preserve it."

Top 5 Players in the World

Have you noticed, now it seems almost everyone has a Top 5 for almost everything in golf?  We began doing this in July 2004, and they all followed.

We have taken stands on issues that we feel are critical to the future of the game of golf.  We realize that golf is just a game. But the direction that the game takes in the future is worth discussing.  We hope this website helps you learn, causes you to ponder, persuades you, moves you to voice your opinion, or enlightens you. At the very least, we hope it provides a good meeting point for those interested in the future of the game of golf.
