Shipping Info/Returns
We strive to ship chocolate bar orders (if not combined with
non-chocolate bars) the same week of the order. Non chocolate bar orders will
generally ship the next week after the order date.
We will still ship by Priority Mail if requested. It is especially
recommended that the customer choose Priority Shipping if warm weather is an
issue. Priority Shipping generally assures less time in transit than
ground shipping. However, Priority Shipping generally assures 2-3 days in
transit, not from the order date.
When ordering candy during warmer months or from warmer
climates, it may be best to have your order delivered Overnight, Overnight with
insulation and a cold pack, or using Priority Shipping to a PO Box. Our
shipping prices are only good for shipments to the United States. Orders from other
countries will have higher shipping rates so please contact us or we will
contact you to adjust the price. Please note: although we will do the best we can to assure that the product will arrive to the customer in the condition it was in when shipped, we cannot guarantee it. We will mark all packages as "perishable" and "fragile". However, the customer assumes the risk.
Customers can contact us for other shipping options if warm temperature is an issue.
All sales are final. Customers are liable for shipping on all returned items unless it is demonstrated that we are responsible. If we make an error, we will refund return shipping costs.
Priority Shipping--To best assure the
condition of your order when using Priority Mail (2-3 days once shipped) it is best to have
it shipped to a Post Office (a US Post Office Box). Since most US
Postal Service offices are air conditioned, savvy customers who don't have their
own PO Box borrow one from a business owner or someone else they know to assure
cooler temperatures. We cannot guarantee the condition of your order
unless Express or Overnight with Cold Pack is selected. We mark all packages
going to warmer climates with "Perishable Keep Cool" stamps. We
generally ship Priority shipments out Saturday, which usually
assures less time in transit and delivery early the following week.
Express Shipping--Express shipments can normally go out the following
day (if we have in stock). Also, you must
contact us if you want Saturday delivery. Extra charges apply for Saturday
delivery. We generally
ship Express shipments Monday-Thursday because of the weekend. Although most
Express Shipments arrive overnight, some are not guaranteed overnight
to certain areas.
Overnight Shipping--This is for guaranteed overnight delivery from
date of shipment Monday-Friday.
Ground Shipping--If temperature is not an issue, Ground
service will usually arrive within 7 business days or quicker. If you are having it shipped
to a business address, please make sure you include the name of the business in
the SHIP TO: space provided while completing your customer information.
Brokerage/Duty Fees--Any brokerage or duty fees
required for import on international orders are the responsibility of the
customer.
Button Parts--Express and Priority rates do not apply
to button parts, only ground rates. You must contact us if you want faster
shipping for button parts.
