It's hard to believe that is already time for many of us to begin thinking about things like winterizing our homes, vehicles, etc. It's also time to start thinking about things like football, the World Series, and even raking leaves, and the other things that come with the Harvest season and Halloween.

Peanut-Free Party

Customer Claudia Geoly had a unique idea for a Halloween Party for Kindergarten-4th Grade students from Trinity School in Menlo Park, CA. She has declared that this year's party, which will be at her home, will officially be Peanut Free.

She said she is aware of six or seven students who have peanut allergies, so she decided that peanut free Nestle Assortment treat size bars would be the perfect candy for the event. The bars are made in a peanut free facility and are guaranteed peanut free by Nestle Canada, as are the regular sized Coffee Crisp, Smarties, Aero, and Kit Kats.

"Our school is a proactive school when it comes to peanut allergies," Claudia said. "Maybe our event will get other parents thinking about this issue. Some kids have severe allergies."

She conducted a test on her own children. Since the test bars quickly disappeared, she is positive that the children at the event will not miss candy made in facilities that are not peanut free.

"My kids aren't going to miss it because it (the Canadian bars) taste so good."
